about Hartley Bennett

The business was set up in 2009 by David Hartley and Ashley Bennett as a dedicated letting and property management business, ‘Hove Lets’, with a simple vision, to deliver first class results and a high-quality service.

Over the years our vision has remained the same, but our portfolio has expanded significantly to cover the wider Sussex area and we felt it was only right that we say a fond farewell to where our journey began and a warm welcome to Hartley Bennett Ltd.

We are proud to have many of the same faces in the team that have been here from the start, and we feel that our ‘Team’ is an integral part of our business success. We have worked hard to develop our skills and knowledge and endeavour to provide an excellent level of service to both Tenants and Landlords alike.

Branch Manager

Sophia joined us in 2016 to pursue her interest in property having worked within different sectors in Customer Service and Managerial roles. She has enjoyed being a part of the business growth and is excited to be a part of the next chapter.

Amelia joined us in 2016, having previously worked for a Commercial Property Company in London, she was interested in the opportunity to pursue a role within the Residential Sector. She liked the independent, ‘family feel’ that our business had to offer. She has quickly progressed within the company and expanded her knowledge and skills.

Fern joined us in 2022 having come from a property background, she has extensive experience having worked in both the Lettings and the Holiday Let industries both within the UK and overseas.

Senior Property Manager

Charlotte joined us in 2023, she has a wealth of experience in the Lettings industry and has previously worked within both Lettings and Block Management. She has brought a range of skills and expertise to enhance our Property Management department.

Lora joined us in 2015 having worked within the Lettings industry for some time, she brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience in her role, particularly valuations. She is a real ‘people person’ and enjoys the diversity of her role.
